Junior Academy

For those looking to get started in our club soccer pathway, our Junior Academy program builds off of the recreational phase of the game to focus on individual skill development and love of the game. This is accomplished through teaching individual fundamental techniques while maximizing the number of touches of the ball all in a low pressure environment. The Junior Academy program includes a fall and spring season consisting of practices and small-sided games.

Because our focus is on individual skill development and creating a love of the game, team rosters are not organized by player ability. All players will be placed on a roster simply based upon available roster spots or additional teams will be formed to give all players an opportunity to participate. Players will be allowed flexibility to train and play with other teams as our focus is maximizing touches on the ball and experience, not wins and losses.

Our Junior Academy program has limited travel, usually reserved for the U8 bracket. While practices and games are typically played at Wilderness Park Soccer Complex, some of our Junior Academy teams may consider participating in our locally hosted Columbus Classic (June) and/or Harvest Cup (October) soccer tournaments. Because of this possibility, our Junior Academy soccer players are only required to purchase a single uniform.
